There were mixed emotions in the Promote office yesterday as we marked Katie Lewis’ last day in the office ahead of her maternity leave with an indulgent afternoon tea at the stunning Danesfield House.
The tea, scones and desserts went down a treat as the conservatory slowly emptied out, partly due to the team filling the room with raucous laughter at some of the more outrageous presents and choice tales of Katie’s past few years at Promote. What happens at Promote stays at Promote!
The baby sweepstake is also hotting up, with an additional ‘guess the name’ category being thrown into the mix. Odds on the favourites are Enrique if it’s a boy or Chardonnay if it’s a girl… something tells us we may be way off.
From matching mum and baby onesies, teddy bears and a hoard of chocolate… Katie was bundled back into her car with more presents than a kid at Christmas.
It all got a bit emotional waving Katie off but we wish her well on this next exciting journey and hope she puts her feet up (doubtful as she was on work emails again last night).
